The publisher introduces a new educational concept for music education in elementary schools and music schools, which has been notably lacking in such a complete and systematically processed form in our country. This educational material has been extensively tested and proven effective based on student feedback. The author has utilized her extensive experience with group teaching of young children. The concept uses proven methods to develop their natural sense of rhythm, intonation, and visual imagination, as well as their musical and movement perception. At the same time, students learn basic musical terminology.

TEACHING SHEETS FOR TEACHERS

• A collection of 32 loose sheets in a folder (A4 format, printed on heavier paper) with clearly laid-out educational content based on 13 music education themes. The themes and their sequence, corresponding to the timeline of a school year, fully align with the content of the Activity Workbook for Children.
• Each theme is presented with a simple, child-friendly theoretical explanation followed by practical exercises in the form of games and simple songs (all 13 songs are also available online). Each theme includes instructions for using the Activity Workbook for Children. The set of thematic sheets is complemented by sheets with rhymes, poems, and folk songs arranged by seasons, as well as sheets with images of musical symbols, instruments, and music dictations. The sheets can be used individually or in various combinations.

ACTIVITY WORKBOOK FOR CHILDREN

• An integral part of the teaching. It is an illustrated workbook without text (landscape format 25.0 x 20.5 cm), with which children work every lesson and complete using puzzles and tasks related to the theme. Guiding the exploration of the unknown planet Music are the charming and appealing color illustrations by the experienced illustrator Jitka Němečková.
