The drum machine does what it is designed to do perfectly. Note that some functions, such as sweep erase for example, will not work until the firmware is updated via the Behringer app, which connects the drum machine to a computer via the USB cable. Connecting and updating itself is seamless at least with windows 10. One problem (somewhat expected, considering that the device is analog) at least for me: The first moment when the drum machine is connected to the computer via the cable, a kind of digital noise is heard, although the drive goes through an active di box first in my case. It responds and receives MIDI information sent by Ableton Live 11 without any problems when the drum machine is used as a sound module, but the noise remains. Otherwise, live it looks better than expected. The buttons and knobs are not of the highest quality, but they work. Another thing you will encounter in the process of working, and which is not well explained, is that when you use the insert function, when programming in "track" mode (which is song mod), it will always insert a "bar" according to your command as the first "bar" only, shifting your entire pattern composition by one "bar" onwards, it's not possible, or at least I haven't found a way to insert "bars" at a location of my choosing, between specified by me "bars". But for live performances it is quite convenient and suitable than the cheaper Korg and Roland drum machines, because it has individual outputs for the individual sounds, which is essential for sound design, by means of an external mixer and effects, which in turn can make this simple drum machine into a monster.
