Cascha HH 2244 Natural Baritone Ukulele

The Cascha Baritone Ukulele stands out for its dimensions alone, as it is the largest ukulele model in Cascha range. Yet not only the size, but also the particular tuning squints in the direction of a full-grown guitar. With the notes D-G-B(H)-E, the tuning of a baritone ukulele corresponds to the lower four strings of the guitar. So, in a way, a baritone ukulele corresponds to a guitar without the low E and A strings, which is why guitarists find it particularly easy to make the switch because of the identical fingering patterns. Nevertheless, the Cascha baritone ukulele is also a perfect instrument for beginners, which is very easy to play.
The larger dimensions of the Cascha Baritone Ukulele, with a scale length of 51 cm and an overall length of 76 cm, not only positively influence its handling, but also its sound. Due to the larger body, the baritone ukulele offers a more voluminous and full sound than its smaller siblings. Due to the longer scale length, it also has more frets and thus a larger tonal range. And with the low D, it also offers a decent bass string. Thanks to the precise tuning machines and the excellent sounding AQUILA strings made of nylon, it always keeps its tuning perfectly.
The frame, back and neck of the Cascha Baritone Ukulele Mahogany Spruce Solid Top are made of mahogany wood, while the top is made of solid spruce. This combination gives it a warm, open and assertive sound. Fingerboard and bridge are made of dark rosewood, which provides a nice visual contrast. In addition, the "Herringbone" binding (herringbone pattern) on the top and rosette is a very special eye-catcher and gives the Cascha Baritone Ukulele a classic and very classy look.
The two integrated strap pins allow for the attachment of ukulele straps for comfortable playing of the Cascha Baritone Ukulele even while standing. The scope of delivery includes a padded premium gig bag with embroidered logo. It protects the instrument optimally and offers enough space for accessories in the outer pocket. The bag can be easily carried by hand with the reinforced handle or comfortably as a backpack with the adjustable shoulder straps. In addition, a tool for adjusting the neck tension rod is included, which can be used to perfectly adjust the string action.
The Cascha Baritone Ukulele is suitable as a solo instrument as well as for accompanying other musicians and instruments. Despite its special features, it provides the typical Hawaiian feeling of a ukulele and immediately spreads relaxation and joy wherever it is taken.
