I wasn't sure if that's the best choice - there are plenty of choices at this price point (ESP LTD Black Metal, ESP LTD EC-401, etc.) I tried those listed and damn... These Fishman Fluence Modern pickups are SO GOOD. I loved them more than EMGs and Seymour Duncan Black Winter. I have no experience with Dean guitars but this one is pretty solid, good build quality, beautiful looks and I had no problems whatsoever. The sound is straight up amazing and I can't commend fishman enough for that. P.S. But don't rely on the "two-tones switcher" that's promised with these pickups. It's not much - the tones are almost same and you wouldn't notice the difference if you wouldn't know there is one. But I don't believe that anyone really cares about this tone switch, so it won't affect 99% of future owners.
