Finish: Polished

The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.

Body: Mahogany

Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.

Neck: Mahogany

The guitar features a mahogany neck for excellent strength and stability. Mahogany is known for its great resonance, contributing to a warm, rich tone with a distinctive mid-range.

Fretboard: Indian Laurel

Indian Laurel is a medium hard wood with a fine texture and a warm brown tone. It offers a balanced tone with a slightly softer response than ebony or maple. The Indian Laurel fingerboard is valued for its durability and feel, while offering a visually appealing and affordable alternative to more expensive woods.

Pickups Configuration: HH

The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.

Тype: Les Paul

Les Paul is an iconic electric guitar made by Gibson, introduced in 1952. It has a solid body, usually made of mahogany, with a maple top. This gives it a rich sustain and a full, warm tone. It features humbucker pickups that minimize noise and offer a powerful, distorted sound. Les Paul is popular in rock, blues, and heavy metal.

I wanted for some time a budget Les Paul. I never had one, only Strat Style guitars. In the music shops in my city (Bucharest) there are no physically Les Pauls for more than 2 years. Only a Sire L7 (this one I liked the neck, but that was all). So, I decided for Epiphone, to buy blinded, on line. Muziker has good prices. I wanted the 50s neck with ProBuckers 2 & 3 and the Grover's keys. But this Les Paul does not exist. So I went for 60's. The guitar came completly un-set (huge action, losen truss rod, ~6 high frets), far from being ready to play. So, I spend 2 and a half hours, fixing things ... But then. What a sound ! Not 100% Gibson, but pretty close. Dynamics ? Yes (either picking, either turning gently the volume pots). I'm speaking of Valve Amps here. Ergonomics ? Not there (by contrast, my Cort G280 is by far more convenient to play). Heavy ? A bit heavy (mine is 3.8 kg). But again, the sound is what I wanted. Bottom line: if you can't afford a Gibson Les Paul, you want a Les Paul, go for this one (or 50s, or 1959, or ...). The risk you take regarding "ready or not ready to play from factory"? It's up to you. I took it, fix it and I have no regrets. Anyhow, Muziker offers a paid service of checking the things before shiping. 100% recommend.
