ESP LTD EX-201 Black Satin Electric guitar

If you’re ready to rock but want a guitar that’s as easy on your budget as it is powerful in the studio and on stage, the LTD EX-201 is a great choice. Built with set-neck construction at 24.75” scale, the EX-201 has a mahogany body and comfortable three-piece maple neck that features a roasted jatoba fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and dot inlays. Features on the EX-201 include an LTD bridge and tailpiece, a reverse matching headstock, and a single direct-mount ESP LH-150B pickup with antique nickel cover. The LH-150B's hot output is perfect for rock and metal, but can also be split for single-coil sounds with the push-pull volume knob.

Fretboard

Fretboard: Roasted Jatoba

Roasted Jatoba is a heat-treated wood that increases its hardness, stability and durability. It offers a clear, articulate tone with excellent response. The roasted Jatoba fingerboard has a richer, darker tone and offers a smoother feel while improving resistance to changes in humidity and temperature. It's an attractive and durable choice for guitarists looking for a combination of sound quality and aesthetics.

Pickups Configuration

Pickups Configuration: H

Humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with a single humbucker pickup. This setup offers a powerful, full-bodied tone with high output and low noise, making it ideal for styles such as rock and metal where a punchy, distorted sound is desired.

Finish: Satin

The satin finish is popular for its ability to combine the properties of both a glossy and matte finish. This type of finish provides a soft sheen, less intense than gloss but more pronounced than matte. This creates a smooth to touch, lightly reflective surface which gives an elegant and sophisticated appearance. The satin finish is ideal for those looking for a balance between visual appeal and convenience, as it can hide small imperfections and fingerprints better than glossy surfaces.

Neck: 3pc Maple

The three-piece maple neck is made from three layers of maple for increased strength and stability. This material provides a clear, crisp tone with fast response, while offering high resistance to bending and warping. It is ideal for players looking for reliability and long-term neck stability.

Тype: HardHeavy

The Hard/Heavy guitar is a solid electric guitar with high performance humbuckers, designed for playing hard rock and heavy metal. It has an aggressive, distorted sound and is designed for fast playing and strong sustain.

Body: Mahogany

Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.

Top: Mahogany

Mahogany on the top plate provides a warm, rich tone. The emphasis is on the mid and low ranges. The sound is full, with strong sustain and round highs that add depth and resonance.
