ESP LTD H3-1000FR Metallic Silver Electric guitar

With the LTD H3-1000FR, you get the bold curves of the ESP Horizon-3, a unique and original look with an extended and beveled upper horn and a shortened lower horn that offers excellent high-fret accessibility. This guitar offers set-thru construction at 25.5” scale, pairing a mahogany body to a three-piece, extra-thin maple neck that has a compound radius for maximum speed and comfort. White body, neck, and headstock binding adds a great-looking contrasting aesthetic. The H3-1000’s Macassar ebony fingerboard features offset white pearloid block inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Its components include a Floyd Rose 1000 SE double-locking tremolo with stainless steel screws, and precise Grover tuners. The direct-mounted pickup set on the H3-1000FR is truly special. Its bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Custom 14, a new pickup made exclusively for ESP that offers high output and extraordinary tonal balance with mind-blowing articulation and clarity, and is splittable with a push-pull control on the tone knob. The Custom 14 is paired with a cosmetically-matching Seymour Duncan APH-1 Alnico II Pro humbucker in the neck position, a legendary pickup that offers a warm tone that is smooth and full, with tons of natural sustain.

Neck

Neck: Maple

Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.

Body

Body: Mahogany

Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.

Fretboard: Macassar Ebony

Macassar ebony is a hard, dense wood with a distinctive striped pattern in shades of black and brown. It offers a clear, crisp tone with excellent response and sustain. The Macassar ebony fingerboard is valued for its luxurious appearance and durability. This contributes to the precise playability and longevity of the instrument.

Pickups Configuration: HH

The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.

Finish: Polished

The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.

Тype: Offset

Offset guitar refers to a type of electric guitar with an asymmetrical body shape, where the bottom is offset from the top. This design improves comfort when playing while seated. Examples of this are the Fender Jazzmaster and the Jaguar. Offset guitars are popular in alternative and indie music genres.
