The LTD MH Series combines design elements of ESP’s H/Horizon models, like its archtop body, and from the M/Mirage guitars, like its inline headstock and extra-thin U-shaped neck. The result is a guitar that can do no wrong for any style of music. The MH-1000 EverTune offers set-thru construction at 25.5” scale for smooth access to the highest frets, using a mahogany body with flamed maple top and a three-piece maple neck. This guitar includes the innovative EverTune constant tension bridge, ensuring that your instrument remains in perfect tune at all points of the fingerboard in nearly all conditions. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard offers a compound radius for great ergonomics, and includes offset bar inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. In addition to its EverTune bridge, the MH-1000 comes with an awesome nickel/black set of hardware including precise Grover tuners. Pickups on the MH-1000 EverTune are innovative active Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and brushed stainless covers to match this guitar’s tasty aesthetics. Each pickup offers two voices.
Macassar ebony is a hard, dense wood with a distinctive striped pattern in shades of black and brown. It offers a clear, crisp tone with excellent response and sustain. The Macassar ebony fingerboard is valued for its luxurious appearance and durability. This contributes to the precise playability and longevity of the instrument.
The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.
The Superstrat is a type of electric guitar based on the design of the Stratocaster, but modified for a more aggressive style of playing, especially in the hard rock and metal genres. It has a solid body, often with powerful humbucker pickups for a more powerful and distorted sound. Superstrat guitars often have an improved tremolo system (like the Floyd Rose) and a faster neck for technical playing. This type of guitar is designed for the modern guitarist who demands more versatility and performance.
