It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of Innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 60s Plain Top has a solid mahogany body with a plain maple top. The mahogany neck has a 60s-style SlimTaper™ profile and a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover® Rotomatic® "Kidney" tuners, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors. The 60s Burstbucker™ pickups are loaded with Alnico 5 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. Now available in attention-grabbing custom colors that are sure to turn heads, a hardshell case is also included.
