Ibanez S521-MOL Mahogany Oil Electric guitar

Electric guitar with PRS-style body shape from S series that features a solid Meranti body and a Wizard III maple neck. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and off-set dot inlays. Scale length is 648 mm, nut width is 43 mm and fingerboard radius is 400 mm. The guitar is equipped with two passive humbucker pickups – Quantum with ceramic magnet. Sound can be adjusted via Tone and Volume controls and a 5-position pickup switch. Cosmo black hardware includes a fixed bridge.

I found one drawback - the adjustment of the length of the first string was a little lacking. Very high quality assembled. This guitar has a fairly accurate sound. This isn't always a good thing. She also has a very ringing sound. Crisp and bright. She has a punchy funk sound and great drive. But if you're a fan of the fat Les Paul sound, you might not like this guitar.

One of 6 string holes is not in one line. It doesnt affect how it plays but other S521 I have seen has all holes in one line.

I replaced the original pickup at the bridge with a GIBSON 498T and the guitar already picked up a completely different sound, of course for the better...
