Third version of the staple JHS overdrive effects pedal called Angry Charlie that keeps everything that has made it a star in place while adding some tweaks for even greater flexibility and usability. It is a force to be reckoned with in the high gain pedal territory and it convincingly and accurately breathes JCM800 tones with ease. The pedal has five controls: Volume, Drive, Bass, Mids and Treble. The Volume control acts as a standard master volume control on an amplifier, while the Drive control decides the amount of overall dirt/overdrive that enters the signal path. New to this version are the Bass, Mids, and Treble controls that faithfully replicate a Marshall-style amplifier tone stack. All three of these controls act as a cut and boost, while at noon they are relatively flat. The right 6,3mm jack is the input, and the left is the output. This pedal requires standard 9V DC negative power, consumes less than 100mA, and measures 56 x 109 x 38 mm.
