Michael Kelly 54 Open Pore Faded Black Electric guitar

The 54 Open Pore might be called the black sheep of the 1950's collection. It avoids tradition in favor of a bolder look and tone. You can't help but notice the Open Pore finish on this Sungkai bodied guitar that delivers a more natural feel. This finish will preserve the natural acoustic properties of the tonewood while still providing excellent protection. The powerful Rockfield SWC humbucker can be coil-split via the push/pull tone knob to deliver single-coil tone. The fast and comfortable neck is enhanced with a 10" radius on the premium Ebony fretboard. So eschew tradition with your own 54 Open Pore.

Finish

Finish: Matte

The matte finish gives surfaces a subtle, unobtrusive and elegant appearance without gloss. This type of finish is achieved by using special paints, varnishes or coatings that absorb light instead of reflecting it. This provides a smooth, non-dazzling finish which gives the materials a sophisticated and modern appearance. The matte finish is popular for its ability to hide small imperfections and fingerprints, making it a convenient choice for everyday use.

Fretboard

Fretboard: Ebony

Ebony is a very hard and dense wood with a smooth surface and a rich, dark color. It offers a clear, articulate tone with excellent response. The ebony fingerboard is popular for its durability, speed and luxurious appearance, while offering excellent playability and precise tone.

Pickups Configuration

Pickups Configuration: HS

The humbucker-single-coil configuration means that the guitar is equipped with one humbucker pickup and one single-coil pickup. This setup offers a combination of powerful, full tone from the humbucker and bright, crisp sound from the single-coil, providing versatility for a wide range of musical styles.

Тype

Тype: T-Model

The T-model is a type of electric guitar based on the Fender Telecaster design. It has a distinctive, simple body with a pair of single-coil pickups that offer a clear, crisp, and punchy tone. T-model guitars are known for their versatility and sturdy construction, suitable for a wide variety of musical styles from country to rock.
