Analog duophonic synthesizer with 25-note synth-action keyboard with assignable aftertouch that brings the best elements of the original Bass Station but provides greater versatility and more functions. It features sound engine with two oscillators plus one sub-oscillator with selectable waveforms and flexible modulation (2 Envelopes, 2 LFOs), and two distinct analog filter types - Acid and Classic. Synthesizer provides 64 factory patches and 64 user slots with Patch Dump function that enables to archive and swap sounds, pattern-based step sequencer and arpeggiator, and analog synth layout that includes dedicated controls for all major parameters. In effects section the synthesizer offers fully analog distortion and filter-modulation effects, and a separate filter overdrive to add a crunchy sound quality. USB and MIDI ports for connecting and powering the device via host computer is provided, as well as mono output, headphone output, external input and sustain pedal input - all on 1/4" TRS jacks. Device can be also powered externally with 9 V Dc power supply (included), and features a switch between power off/DC powered/bus powered.
The pedal input allows you to connect an external pedal that expands the instrument's control capabilities and contributes to a richer musical expression, increasing flexibility and expressiveness when playing and creating music.
The ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) type envelope filter gives you precise control over the dynamics and shape of your sound. The ADSR components are detailed as follows: Attack: Specifies how quickly the sound reaches its maximum volume upon activation. Decay: Specifies the time it takes for the volume to drop from maximum to sustain. Sustain: Represents a stable volume level that is maintained as long as the sound is active. An LFO, or low frequency oscillator, brings electronic sound to life. However, you won't hear the LFO itself because it acts as a modulator. This means that it does not directly affect the audio signal, but adjusts other parameters such as oscillator pitch and filter clipping.
