Merino wool on the inside is comfortably soft and ensures good temperature management. The Tasmanian merino wool meets the strict criteria of the ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE, which is based upon the fair treatment of animals, farmers and the environment. And the jacket is manufactured entirely in Europe, thus avoiding long transport routes. The WESTALPEN SOFTSHELL high-alpine touring jacket boasts impressive additional features. Merino Naturetec Material
The merino wool is directly woven together with the material from schoeller® to create the ORTOVOX NATURETEC fabric. This combination of merino wool and durable polyamide is extremely robust and elastic – making it ideal for high-action sports. The merino wool on the skin ensures good wear comfort and an ideal personal microclimate, while the polyamide provides protection against wind and light precipitation.
