It aerates the water and helps to keep the live bait or catch much longer in life. Works with three type C batteries and 1.5 liters per minute aeration. Battery capacity is sufficient for continuous operation of 18 hours or intermittent operation of 36 hours, with interval settings of 15 minutes.
