Raw Vintage put these pickups through the paces; Spent countless hours of reseach & development using multiple amps, pedals & many combinations. Hand assembled in sunny Southern California, the RV-60 pickups are built with Alnico 5 magnets, single Formvar Copper wire, vintage style push back cloth leads and dipped in a layers of lacquer and wax. The result is an amazingly pure sound and a clarity that perfectly compliments the natural tone and harmonics of the guitar. The Raw Vintage pickups contribute to a full "open" sound and tightness with a sweet spanky high end, firm lows, and mids with a great complexity and a punchy attack. The RV-60 pickups are carefully hand wound at our Los Angeles shop. Position: Middle.
