Humbucker pickup for bridge position from Vintage series that is Seymour Duncan’s early 70’s London special P.A.F. rewind recipe and provides a fatter P.A.F bridge tone, with more midrange harmonics. Before Seymour built his own business, he was working for Fender Soundhouse in London and rewound pickups for some of his favourite musicians. One of these custom rewind recipes went to a very special player, and as a result of Seymour’s meticulous record keeping, this pickup lives on today. It begins with a rough cast alnico 5 magnet, plain enamel wire, and Seymour’s unique winding pattern. The bridge is a vintage-hot at 8.78k DC resistance. The rough cast magnets add warmth and balance so everything sounds bigger. What is sonically unique about this humbucker is the way that it pushes the amp and adds a very slight natural compression and sustain to the sound. This model should be paired with the Whole Lotta Humbucker neck model for a great sounding matched set. It is hand built in Santa Barbara, California, uses a rough cast alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is wax potted for squeal free operation.
