Tanglewood TWCR O TB Thru Blue Stain Satin Folk Guitar

The Crossroads series pays homage to the style and sound of classic instruments from 1930’s America.
Michael Sanden selected the timbers, making the tops a precise measurement so they flex and respond to the players attack. He then braced the instrument with his own patterns to give each guitar its own personality. He wanted to make a guitar that would have the sound that any musician, professional or amateur could appreciate. To make the guitar look authentic to the 1930’s era, Michael added a dark stain to the timbers that they call Whiskey Barrel to make the Crossroads look historic and simply elegant.

I bought this because I am a lefty playing right-handed guitar for 15 years, but always wanted to re-learn on left handed guitar and play a little better. So i didn't want to spend a lot of money on my first lefty guitar. I was shocked by how many positive reviews this budget guitar had, so I bought it instead of a guitar that was a few hundred dollars more, and I am so happy with the decision! For a low-price guitar, the neck and frets feel so good to play. The action right of the box was the best I ever experienced from a budget guitar and it stays in tune for the most part. It will be easy to play for first-time guitar players for sure and it's a great additional guitar to have for those looking for another guitar that they want to stay in tune, but don't want to spend a lot of money on. I just wish the acoustic-electric version of the guitar was sold on this website, and then it would have been PERFECT
