The author of the book Základní Hudební Znalosti is a long-time and experienced music teacher. The textbook contains the most basic knowledge that anyone who comes into contact with music should know. It is intended for pupils of basic art schools, especially those who are preparing for secondary schools with an artistic focus - conservatories, secondary pedagogical schools and grammar schools with extended teaching of aesthetic subjects. At the same time, it is a necessary aid for pupils who, for various reasons, do not attend music education, but pass an exam, as well as suitable supplementary literature for music teachers at primary schools. This time the author places increased emphasis on the practical part, ie on intonation and auditory analysis.
